Don't forget to stop by your local McDonald's for a small cup of free coffee today!

McDonald's locations in Southeastern Michigan are giving out free cups of small coffee every Wednesday for the rest of the month.  Get yours while supplies last.

Southfield Public Library's February Book Sale

The Southfield Public Library is having their monthly book sale this weekend: 

Show up today or tomorrow for great deals on gently used books, magazines, CDs, and DVDs.  Head to the basement of the library and follow the trail of yellow foot prints to the Book Cellar.

The sale runs from:
         Friday 12pm -5pm
                 and
       Saturday 11am - 5pm

You can earn a 10% off coupon for a March purchase if you spend $10.  If you spend $4, you immediately earn a free book from a cart located near the cash registers.  Additionally, a number of their fiction titles, cds, and dvds are priced at 50% off this week. This means that most of the items on those shelves are about 50 cents each.  If you purchase from one of the other sections, you're still only paying around $1 for each item.


Payment in the Book Cellar is cash only.

Free Food This Weekend at Burger King

Time to put my New Year's resolution on a brief hiatus...Burger King is giving out free food this weekend: 
 
 
There is no coupon, no super secret text, no code or slogan you have to scream out in order to get your free onion rings...much like the McDonald's free coffee deal on Wednesdays, all you have to do for your free onion rings is show up to a Burger King location this Saturday or Sunday. No muss, no fuss.  They are giving out the onion rings "while supplies last"...so I wouldn't show up at 11pm and expect them to be stocked.
