Target Clearance Deals Week of 1/22/2012

Meijer and IKEA aren't the only places for good deals on furniture and kitchenware this week.   You might also want to take a peek at the clearance deals at Target.  Much like Meijer, the clearance deals do not appear in the Target weekly promotional ad.  You have to go to the store and just...well, you have to get lucky.  Each location will probably have a different assortment of items, but this post should give you a rough idea of what to expect in the kitchen department:

Rather than spend $21 on a 20 piece, it would be FAR better to head to Target to pick up this 80-piece Pfaltzgraff flatware set while they still last.  They are marked down to an affordable $39.99 on clearance.

Target also has a variety of white dinnerware and larger bowls up to 50% off with their clearance sale.  Do note that the entire line of white dinnerware and serving platters/bowls are NOT on clearance.  You can see this in the above picture:  top shelf is clearance, middle shelf is retail price.  The prices are generally around $6 - $8 for the larger pieces and  around $4 for the smaller bowls and plates.

If you are looking for color or if you are budget-conscious, then the Restyle line might be right up your alley.  This is their 16-piece stonewear set marked down to $12.48.  If you need additional Restyle plates, bowls, or saucers, these are also on clearance.  I saw a set of 4 large plates for $4.98.

The last item is not on clearance, but it is a great deal nonetheless:Target has their 8- or 9- cube organizers on sale for a mere $39.99.  You can also purchase the fabric drawers for added organization (just $5.99).  Unless you are purchasing a floor model, similar cube organizers and fabric drawers would cost you MUCH more than this at another store (think $60+ for the organizer alone).  If the quality is actually there, this is kind of a steal.
